Certified Zentangle Teacher

I just returned from the CZT 7 workshop in Providence, Rhode Island. I am now an officially Certified Zentangle Teacher. What does this mean? Well it means that I have have learned the specific teaching method and requirements to go out into the world and share the gift of Zentangle with the world.

What is Zentangle? From the official site:

Zentangle is an easy to learn and relaxing method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. Zentangle is an intuitive art form which increases creativity and focus. It is enjoyed by people of all ages and a wide range of skills.
I am really looking forward to teaching and brining this gift to as many people as I can. It helped me through some rough times and I just simply enjoy doing it. The great thing about it is that the supplies are so minimal and inexpensive that you can do it a lot, and just about anywhere.

If you're interested in learning more, leave me a comment and I'll be happy to contact you with further information.

I will be available to teach just about anywhere in the Atlanta area - Schools, Churches, Craft Stores, Birthday Parties, Home Schoolers, you name it, I'll work out a way to get it to you.

Welcome

Welcome to Artfulori - I am Artful Lori and I'm happy to see you here.

What you will find here is a mixture of all the types of art work that I do. I hope to post my work then move into giving advice and tutorials for those who are interested in learning the process that I use in my work.

I'm going to start by posting a sort of retrospective of the art that I've created over the past several months. Some good, some bad, some just down right awful. The idea is to show the progression that I've gone through in moving from working with 3D materials to 2D materials. Hopefully this will also help others realize that you aren't going to be Picasso right out of the gate and that as time goes on, the more you learn and practice, the better you will become.

I welcome comments, feedback, questions, anything at all at any time. The more we talk together, the more we will learn together.
